Tanios started as a simple project revolving around
Sumac and Zaatar. Why? Because life is in its spice.

Sumac is magic! Made from ground and dried red velvety berries, sumac is a tangy spice with a sour, acidic flavor reminiscent of lemon juice.
Try it on eggs and you’ll understand how magnificent sumac is!
zaatar
Wild zaatar is punctuated by seasonality, it is picked early in the summer to be later savoured throughout the year. More intense in smell and taste, it is also recognised by its lighter colour than that of cultivated zaatar.
